How did you hear about Citizens for Global Solutions Flash Contest?
Through Fastweb.com

Was this your first Flash piece? How did you first learn Flash?
No I've been practicing with flash for a couple of years now. After getting the program I used its tutorials for simple things like drawing and tweening and such. However, the more I practiced the more I discovered techniques without tutorials, and have been improving my skill ever since.

How did you choose your topic –OR- Why is your topic important to you?
For a long while I've noticed how bad pollution has been affecting other countries including my own. I figured why not get creative with this crisis? More people need to know about it.

Before the contest, did you consider yourself fairly knowledgeable about global issues? Has this contest opened your eyes in any way?
I've been quite aware of many global problems. However, after seeing some of last years flashes I began to remember how important some issues are that I had sadly forgotten to be as urgent, such as outsourcing.

Did you have any weird, funny, horrible, or in some other way memorable moments during the making of your Flash piece for this contest?
The night I found out about the contest was a week before it was due. At that time I didn't realize it until three days later when I went back to check it's date once more. The only thing going through my mind was, "Aaaaaaagh!!!! I only have 4 days to make this thing?!!!!". So next thing I knew I was putting several hours into this piece. I even had a friend go into work for me just so I could have a Saturday off to finish the piece (which I did around 2-3 in the morning). Funny thing was I figured out later that the contest had been extended to three more days. Although exhausted I thought happily, "At least now I know I turned in the flash early."

Any last words/Anything else you’d like for us and the flash viewers to know?

Yes; Please try and help your community to lessen this pollution problem. Try to recycle more often and watch how many resources you consume/use. Even picking up trash where you see it and throwing it away helps.
